Cherubim appear at the entrance to Eden, guarding the way to the tree of life. Centuries later the temple is adorned with carved cherubim. That resemblance does not by itself prove that Eden is a temple, but it gives us a connection worth examining.
The sanctuary itself had a curtain bearing images of cherubim. What might that add to the picture?
