A garden planted in Eden

SCRIPTUREWorld English Bible · WEB

Genesis 2:8–9

8Yahweh God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Observation

In Eden there is a garden, trees, and the tree of life. Scripture does not explicitly call Eden a temple, but later sanctuary imagery makes this an interesting connection to investigate.

When Solomon builds the temple, which images are carved into its walls?
