Observation

At the death of Jesus, Matthew tells us the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom. The veil had marked a boundary within the sanctuary. Why does the gospel writer tell us this happened at that moment?

Hebrews returns to the language of the curtain, but now speaks about entering and drawing near.
