The same Woven, close at hand
After installation, Woven opens in its own app window. Pinning its icon to the Windows taskbar is a separate step.
No app-store download is necessary on supported browsers. You can install Woven without creating an account.

Begin at woven.ac, so your icon opens the public Woven application.
Chrome on Windows
Install Woven
- Open woven.ac in Chrome.
- Select Add Woven to your device above. If Chrome offers an installation prompt, choose Install.
- Otherwise, open Chrome’s ⋮ menu, choose Cast, save, and share → Install page as app, then follow the prompt. An install icon may also appear in the address bar.
Keep Woven on your taskbar
With Woven open, right-click its icon on the Windows taskbar and choose Pin to taskbar. Installing and pinning are separate actions.

Install Woven
- Open woven.ac in Edge.
- Use the install icon in the address bar when offered, or open … → More tools → Apps → Install this site as an app.
- Confirm the name Woven and install.
Keep Woven on your taskbar
Open edge://apps, find Woven, select Details, then Pin to taskbar.
Android
- Open woven.ac in Chrome.
- Select Add Woven to your device above and follow the prompt when offered.
- Or open Chrome’s ⋮ menu, select Install and create shortcut → Install. Some versions show Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Follow the confirmation steps, then look for the Woven icon in your apps or on your Home screen.
iPhone
- Open woven.ac in Safari.
- Open Safari’s page menu and select Share, or tap the Share button if your layout shows it.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, use Edit Actions to add it.
- Leave the name as Woven. Turn on Open as Web App if that option is shown, then tap Add.
Tap the Woven icon on your Home Screen whenever you wish to return.

If your browser does not offer installation, open Woven in a supported browser or keep a bookmark.
Menu wording can vary with your browser version. If installation is unavailable, a browser bookmark still gives you an easy way back.
