WovenCOME AND SEE

Woven Together

Come and See, Together

What might happen if several people opened the same passage of Scripture, followed its connections, and simply shared what they saw?

They might begin in the same place and notice entirely different things.

One person may recognize something familiar. Another may notice a connection they had never considered. Someone else may find themselves drawn to an entirely different passage.

There is no need for everyone to see the same thing.

A Way to Gather

Woven can be explored together, whether sitting around a table or meeting online.

Someone might suggest a Pattern to begin with. Everyone can open it on their own phone, tablet, or computer.

Read the Scripture together.

Follow a connection.

See where it may lead.

As other connections become available, people may follow the same passage or explore wherever they feel led.

There is no requirement to arrive at a particular place.

What I Saw

At any point, someone may wish to share something they saw.

Perhaps a passage reminded them of another. Perhaps something familiar appeared differently. Perhaps they noticed something they hadn't seen before.

Anyone who wishes may share.

There is no expectation that everyone contribute, and no need to decide whether another person's observation is right or wrong.

We are not gathering to determine what everyone should see. We are making room for people to share what they have seen.

Those who have created their own My Place can record their observations privately under What I Saw and return to them later.

When You Gather Again

There may be something worth sharing from the time between gatherings.

Someone might have followed another connection, returned to an earlier passage, or recognized something during an ordinary day that reminded them of the Pattern they had been exploring.

The next gathering could begin simply by inviting anyone who wishes to share what they saw since the last time.

Then someone might suggest a Pattern, or the group might continue exploring one that has already begun.

There is no need to finish a Pattern before beginning another.

A Place to Rest

Some gatherings may follow many passages. Others may spend their entire time with one.

Neither is more successful.

There is nothing to complete, no progress to measure, and no conclusion everyone must reach.

You may continue, return, or simply rest with what has been seen.

Come and See

And perhaps someone else will see something you have not.
